1 Terms & Conditions
Please make sure you have read and understand our terms and conditions before placing an order with Designer Sunglasses UK.
We the supplier must receive full payment for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by Designer Sunglasses UK we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to the email address provided in the order form. Designer Sunglasses UK’s acceptance of the order brings into existence a legally binding contract between Designer Sunglasses UK and the customer.
The “contract” means the legally binding agreement between the supplier and the customer
- The “Supplier” shall be Designer Sunglasses UK
- The “Customer” shall refer to the purchaser of goods from the Supplier.
3 Right to refuse your order
Designer Sunglasses UK reserves the right to refuse acceptance of the order for any reason including, without limitation and whether or not payment has been received by Designer Sunglasses UK if :
- Designer Sunglasses UK has insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- Designer Sunglasses UK do not deliver to your area albeit all best endeavors will be considered in this regard;
If Designer Sunglasses UK do refuse your order Designer Sunglasses UK will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by Designer Sunglasses UK from your credit /debit card as soon as possible but in any event within 7 days of your order subject to any bank time restraints and/or restrictions. Designer Sunglasses UK will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for the inability to complete an order due to the circumstances detailed above.
The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in Designer Sunglasses UK’s website. The Customer may be required to make additional payment for delivery to areas that are beyond the reasonable limitation of the United Kingdom and it might not be possible for Designer Sunglasses UK to deliver to some locations. Designer Sunglasses UK’s delivery charges are set out in the ‘Delivery Policy’ on the Designer Sunglasses UK website.
- Any promotional discount code offer cannot be used with other offers.
- One pair of complete glasses only.
- Discount not transferable in whole or part for cash.
- Offer available online only.
- These terms and conditions in no way affect your existing statutory rights as a consumer.
- Goods are sold subject to availability.
- Designer Sunglasses UK discount codes – Vouchers are bound by the Designer Sunglasses UK terms of sale, unless stated below.
- Vouchers cannot be used with any other promotional code discount or in conjunction with any other offers.
- Discount codes are not transferable in whole or part for cash.
- Discount codes are not valid for cash or cash equivalent.
- Discount codes are not available for adjustments on previous purchases.
- Discount codes are for single use only.
- No change or credit on unredeemed values will be available.
- Designer Sunglasses UK will not give credit or cash equivalent for any unused part of a discount code or voucher.
- Designer Sunglasses UK will not give refunds on expired vouchers and any other refunds will be entirely at the discretion of Designer Sunglasses UK
- Discount codes / Vouchers issued since January 2016 are valid until 29/03/16 unless otherwise stated.
- Promotional Offers – Designer Sunglasses uk reserves the right to change any offer at any time without prior notice. – Offer applies between the dates stated (if applicable) only at Designer sunglasses UK.
5 Right to terminate the contract
The Customer may terminate the contract with Designer Sunglasses UK for the goods ordered at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the day after the date the customer receives the ordered goods. The Customer does not need to give Designer Sunglasses UK any reason for terminating the contract nor will the customer have to pay any penalty other than postage of the products purchased for their return.
To terminate the contract the Customer must notify Designer Sunglasses UK in writing. If the Customer has received the goods before the termination of the contract then the Customer must return the goods back to Designer Sunglasses UK contact address at the Customers own expense and risk. If the Customer terminates the contract but Designer Sunglasses UK have already processed the goods for delivery the Customer must not unpack the goods or unreasonably affect the external packaging of the product to ascertain the content when they are received by the Customer and must return the goods back to Designer SunglassesUK at the contact address at the Customers own expense and risk as soon as possible.
Once the Customer has notified Designer Sunglasses UK that they are terminating the contract, any sum debited to Designer Sunglasses UK from the debit/credit card/PayPal account will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 7 days of the order allowing for any bank time restraints or restrictions.
If the contract is terminated but the return the goods to Designer Sunglasses UK in the condition that they were dispatched when delivered to the Customer or do not pay the costs of delivery, Designer Sunglasses UK shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you. Should the goods not be returned within 7 days of the credited amount being returned then Designer Sunglasses UK reserve the right to seek recover of all reasonable expenses made in having to recover monies, including that available through the Courts.
6 Delivery of goods to you.
Designer Sunglasses UK will deliver the goods ordered by the Customer to the address provided to Designer Sunglasses UK for delivery at the time the Customers makes the order. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure the correct details are provided
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after the order is accepted and in any event within 28 days of your order.
The Customer will become the owner of the goods ordered when they have been delivered Once goods have been delivered they will be held at the Customers own risk and Designer Sunglasses UK will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
If the goods Designer Sunglasses UK deliver are not what the Customer ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, then (except where you are dealing as a consumer within the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977) Designer Sunglasses UK shall have no liability unless you notify Designer Sunglasses UK in writing at Designer Sunglasses UK’s contact address of the problem within 14 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
If you do not receive goods ordered within 28 days of the date on which they were ordered, then (except where you are dealing as a consumer) Designer Sunglasses UK shall have no liability unless notified in writing at Designer Sunglasses UK’s contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If the Customer notifies a problem to Designer Sunglasses UK under this condition then at the Customers option designersunglassesuk.com will either: 6.2.1 Make good any shortage or non-delivery; 6.2.2 Replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon return of the goods; or 6.2.3 Refund to the Customer the amount paid for the goods in question by debit/credit refund or cheque And (except where you are dealing as a consumer) designersunglassesuk.com shall have no further liability to the Customer. 6.3 Save as precluded by law and except where the Customer are dealing as a consumer, designersunglassesuk.com will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem notified to designersunglassesuk.com under this condition and designersunglassesuk.com shall have no liability to pay any money by way of compensation other than to refund the amount paid for the goods in question under clause 6.2.3 above. 6.4 The Customer must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from Designer Sunglasses UK site. The importation or exportation of certain of designersunglassesuk.com’s goods to the Customer may be prohibited by certain national laws. Designer Sunglasses UK make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods purchased. 6.5 Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights the Customer might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit SunglassesUK.com’s liability for any death or personal injury resulting from SunglassesUK.com’s negligence.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices from the Customer to SunglassesUK.com must be in writing and sent to SunglassesUK.com’s contact address at email@example.com and all notices from SunglassesUK.com to you will be displayed on SunglassesUK.com’s website.
9 Events beyond Designer Sunglasses UK’s control
SunglassesUK.com shall have no liability to the Customer for any failure to deliver goods ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond SunglassesUK.com’s reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident or considered an Act of God.
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which Designer Sunglasses UK exclude Designer Sunglasses UK) the enforce-ability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected to the extent that they are capable of continuing in force without the unenforceable term or condition.
12 Third Party Rights
Except for Designer Sunglasses UK’s directors or representatives, a person who is not a party to this agreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act.
13 Governing Law
The contract between Designer Sunglasses UK shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between Designer Sunglasses UK and their customers.

16 Fourteen day money back guarantee
If the products are the subject of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturers or suppliers of those products, we guarantee that such products will be free from defects caused by faulty materials or poor workmanship for the period of that warranty or guarantee. Under this warranty or guarantee we will, at our option, either repair or give a replacement of equivalent quality. Or we will issue a credit to the Customer. This is subject to: a. The Customer notifying us in writing within 3 days of first discovering the defect. This notification will be accepted by either post or email; b. The products having been used in an appropriate manner and/or as prescribed in the operating instructions (if any); c. The Customer delivering the products to us, at their own expense; and d. Us being satisfied that such defects exist and have not been caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper storing, installation or handling or by repair or alteration not carried out by us. e. The Customer will not be entitled to receive any compensation, credit or refund in excess of that received by us under any guarantee or warranty given to us by the manufacturer or supplier of that product.
Where the products are not the subject of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturers of those products and the Customer wishes to reject the products for whatever reason, then Designer Sunglasses UK will accept the return of the products provided that the Customer returns the products to us within 7 days of them being delivered. This is subject to: a. In the case of unwanted products these must be returned to Designer Sunglasses UK in the same condition that they were despatched and must be unused. They must also include all original packaging and documentation. Any damage or loss to either the product, packaging or the documentation may affect the amount of refund made. b. Where the product ordered is defective then, subject to Designer Sunglasses UK being satisfied that such defect exists and has not been caused by incorrect use, storage or handling, we will credit the Customer in full. When sending a return, the parcel is the Customers responsibility until it reaches us. This means the Customer is also responsible for the postage for the return parcel. We strongly recommend that the parcel is returned using an insured delivery service. Designer Sunglasses UK does not accept liability for parcels damaged during transit so we advise to wrap the product adequately to prevent this happening.
